Proven Technologies for Municipal & Industrial Systems
Proven Performance on Complex Projects
Our involvement in some of the largest projects in the industry demonstrates the trust placed in us by engineers, municipalities, and manufacturers alike.
Our Role in Projects
Supporting Success from Design Through Operation
Global WET is involved in projects well before the design begins. Our team actively supports:
- Equipment selection and technical evaluations during design
- Pairing products with process
- Specification development and review
- Bid assistance and submittal coordination
- Installation scheduling and contractor coordination
- Startup support and operational guidance
Industry-Leading Installations
Global WET’s project portfolio includes record-setting and first-of-their-kind installations that demonstrate our ability to support complex municipal infrastructure.
Notable project experience includes:
Generating hypochlorite onsite eliminates the need for daily bulk deliveries of bleach, which carries risk of contamination, increases cost, and requires continuously having trucks come in and out of the facility. We eliminated this risk by generating bleach onsite using salt, elect and water.
Over 100 Milton Roy precision chemical metering pumps were installed in a new 400 MGD North Houston water purification plant. This is a surface water plant that has seasonal variations in the feed water, requiring the chemical feed systems to be versatile and flexible. The chemical feed systems are used for pH adjustment, polymer feed, disinfection, and process control.
The original plant had the same Milton Roy pumps for over two decades, which required minimal maintenance and they still function with great efficiency. Milton Roy was selected for its reliability, durability, and life cycle cost.
We installed the largest centrifuge installation in Texas at the time by providing 16 Centrisys centrifuges to Houston’s main wastewater treatment plant. This equipment has benefitted the city with lower power and polymer usage and significantly less downtime, while treating the same amount of sludge and producing dryer cake. Additionally, we provide local service and repair, which reduces time and overhead. Due to the reduced cost of ownership and the higher return on investment, this equipment earns its keep.
Twenty-two Veolia Hydrotech™ Disc Filters were installed at Houston’s largest wastewater treatment plant. They replaced moving bridge sand filters that produced a high volume of backwash water, jammed frequently, and involved unsafe repair conditions. The new filters have a higher capture rate and the ability to bring units on and offline as conditions necessitate. as a result, the capabilities of the new Veolia Hydrotech™ Disc Filters reduced wear and tear on the systems, lowered costs, eliminated resource inefficiencies and mitigated unsafe repair conditions.

Why Our Experience Matters
Experience That Engineers and Municipalities Trust
Large municipal projects require more than equipment supply—they require reliable partners who understand design intent, construction realities, and operational demands. Global WET’s experience helps ensure technologies are applied correctly and supported long after startup.
